Southern Fried Salmon Patties



Pink Salmon (canned), 1 can 14 3/4 oz

Onions, raw, 1/4 cup, chopped

Yellow Cornmeal, 1/4 cup

Egg, fresh, 1 large

Flour, white, 1/4 cup

Kraft Mayo Light Mayonnaise (Mayo), 3 tbsp

Pepper, red or cayenne, 1/4 tsp

Salt, 1 dash

Pepper, black, 1 dash

Olive Oil, 1/2 tbsp


Open the salmon and let it drain well. Put the drained salmon in a mixing bowl and crumble it evenly with a fork.

Add onion, corn flour, flour, mayonnaise and egg. Stir until they are well mixed.

Form the mixture into burgers the size of an average hamburger or less.

Cook in oil in a pan over medium heat until golden brown on each side. Turn once while frying.
