roasted potato wedges



2 red potatoes, washed and cut into 8 long wedges.

3 tablespoons of olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon of kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


Preheat the oven to 475 degrees F.
In a bowl, mix the potato quarters with olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Put the potatoes on a baking tray and bake them until golden brown on each side, turning them in half, about 12 minutes on each side. When both sides are browned and the potatoes can be easily pierced with a fork, the potatoes are done.

It is so quick and easy to do, but so good! The best recipes are the simplest. This is our preferred way to prepare potatoes. I like to keep the skin on the potato because it is tasty and I have heard that it is the most nutritious part of the potato.
